Path 1: The University Degree
The first path to becoming a qualified personal trainer is through a university degree. There are a number of degrees providing eligibility to become a personal trainer, but it is important that you do your research and ensure that you are enrolling in a degree that provides a direct pathway to a personal training career. Path 2: Further Education (FE)
The second path to obtaining personal training qualifications is through a Further Education (FE) Provider. Although completing an FE course won’t take you quite as long as a university degree, you will still gain the practical and theoretical skills and knowledge required to be an effective, qualified personal trainer.
